Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into reliable, actionable intelligence that supports business strategy, operational decision-making, research, reporting, and digital data products.

The successful candidate will work with structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources and ensure that all analytical outputs are accurate, traceable, consistent, timely, and suitable for management and client decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical models.
• Perform exploratory and statistical data analysis.
• Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and integrity.
• Work with both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Prepare management, research, operational, and client-facing reports.
• Develop data visualizations that communicate insights effectively.
• Support business strategy and operational decision-making through data.
• Document data sources, methodologies, assumptions, and analytical processes.
• Collaborate with business, technology, research, and product teams.
• Support the development of data-driven digital products.
• Apply predictive analytics and statistical modelling where appropriate.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Understanding of statistics and predictive analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
